To vote in the 2026 elections, you must be registered 29 days before Election Day. You can register online, by mail, or in person.

Escambia County offers several ways to cast your ballot, and here is a list of How to Vote in Pensacola — 2026 Elections for the Mayoral Race:


Vote Early (In Person)

  • Early Vote Dates: August 8 through August 15
  • Early Vote Locations


Vote by Mail (Absentee Ballot)

You can request a ballot to be mailed to you — great if you prefer voting from home.

  • Request deadline: 5:00 pm on the 12th day before Election Day
  • Mail‑back deadline: Your ballot must be received by 7:00 pm on Election Day.
  • Request a vote-by-mail or absentee ballot
  • Track your ballot

Vote at Your Precinct on Election Day

  • Polls are open 7 am – 7 pm on Election Day.
  • Vote at the polling place assigned to your address.
  • Use the precinct finder on EscambiaVotes.gov to find your location
  • Polling location lookup


If you vote in person (early or on Election Day), you must present a photo and signature ID such as:

  • Florida driver’s license or Florida ID
  • U.S. passport
  • Military or student ID
  • Debit/credit card or veterans ID
    … and others listed on the Supervisor site.
  • Full voting instructions and acceptable IDs:


  • Primary Election: August 18, 2026
  • Registration & Party Change Deadline (Primary): July 20, 2026
  • General Election: November 3, 2026
  • Registration Deadline (General Election): October 5, 2026
