Pensacola voters are asking "How is Ann Hill different than Mayor D.C. Reeves?" This election is not simply about personalities or politics: it is about priorities, leadership style, and what kind of city government residents want moving forward.
Ann Hill believes city government should focus first on the everyday needs of the people who live here: safer neighborhoods, reliable city services, affordable living, public waterfront access, youth recreation, infrastructure, habitat restoration, and a City Hall that is transparent and accessible to residents. Her vision centers on improving quality of life across all of Pensacola.
During her time on Pensacola City Council, Ann Hill focused on practical neighborhood improvements, environmental projects, parks, recreation, walkability, public access, and preserving the character of Pensacola while planning responsibly for future growth.
D.C. Reeves has taken a different approach, focusing heavily on large-scale development projects, tourism initiatives, downtown expansion, and costly long-term projects. Many residents have expressed growing concerns that basic city services, affordability, neighborhood infrastructure, transparency, and day-to-day quality-of-life issues are no longer receiving enough attention.
This mayoral election offers Pensacola residents two very different visions for the future.
Neighborhoods, affordability, parks, and basic city services versus large development projects and downtown expansion.
Sanitation, drainage, sidewalks, parks, traffic safety, and the everyday services residents depend on.
Making City Hall more open, responsive, and easier for residents to access and follow.
Balancing growth with preservation while supporting neighborhoods, local businesses, public spaces, and working families.

Ann Hill worked alongside the Veterans Memorial Park Foundation, the Chappie James Museum Foundation, and Naval Air Station Pensacola to help secure the historic aircraft and Gen. Daniel “Chappie” James Jr. statue for the memorial plaza at the foot of the formerly known Three Mile Bridge: a project that has faced years of delays and excuses under the Reeves administration.
As the August 18, 2026 Pensacola mayoral election approaches, voters have the opportunity to learn more about Ann Hill’s vision for the city through “The Ann Plan,” a neighborhood-focused platform centered on city services, parks, affordability, infrastructure, habitat restoration, and transparency in local government.
