I'm Ann Hill, former Pensacola City Council President, and I'm running for Mayor of Pensacola because I believe city government should get back to the basics, work for everyone, and live within its means.
The Ann Plan is rooted in my love for Pensacola and my belief that city government should never lose sight of the people it serves. I believe the 2026 Pensacola mayoral election is an opportunity to restore trust in City Hall, return to the basics of local government, and make sure every neighborhood has a voice.
Pensacola is where generations of my family built their lives. My husband's parents met beneath the brick arches of the downtown USO. His father worked on aircraft at NAS Pensacola, and his grandfather built wooden boats and sold fresh seafood beneath the old Theo Baars Drawbridge.
Those stories are part of the reason I care so deeply about protecting Pensacola's maritime heritage, supporting our fishing community, preserving our historic neighborhoods, and safeguarding the natural beauty of Pensacola Bay, our bayous, and our public waterfront.
My children attended Pensacola schools, and raising them here showed me how important it is for families to have safe parks, quality recreation, museums, pools, youth programs, and public spaces. Some of our family's best moments were spent at local ballfields, on the water, and enjoying everything that makes Pensacola such a special place to call home.
Too often, City Hall has lost sight of those everyday priorities. When parks remain closed, neighborhoods are overlooked, and basic city services fall behind, residents feel the impact long before they notice the next ribbon cutting.
As Mayor of Pensacola, I'll bring city government back to the basics by restoring trust, maintaining the city services residents depend on, investing responsibly in neighborhoods and public spaces, protecting Pensacola Bay and our waterways, supporting public safety, and making City Hall work for everyone.
The Ann Plan is built on practical solutions, not campaign slogans. These downloadable policy briefs explain the research, budget analysis, and ideas behind Ann Hill's proposals to make Pensacola more affordable, strengthen neighborhoods, and invest in the basic city services.
